David aka Draagvlak is a student at the School of Arts in Utrecht. Currently in his graduation year of his study Product Design. His work shows the use of new materials and colors on decades old traditional pieces such as the Virgin Mary statues and Venus de Milo heads.

Davids personality translates through his work, a colorful person looking for the uncommon in life. We are super stoked to have his work at our store. We are the first and (for now) only store in the Netherlands to be selling his work! We have 3 variety's of the Venus de Milo heads and 2 variety's of the Virgin Mary statues.
David was so stoked to be resident artist at WNKL that he went out of his comfort zone to create the biggest Virgin Mary yet. It is a 80cm tall Virgin Mary in blue and pink marble! Colors that are chosen to symbolize the balance between feminine and masculine energie. This statue is made up out of two 40cm pieces and took 190 hours of 3D printing before color was added.
Come check out his work at the store and make sure to follow our man @draagvlak . His work is the perfect gift for the Holidays!
Blessed day to you all.
